Hello October! I'm super pumped about this last quarter of the year. So many awesome things on the horizon, and I can't wait to share. The One Room Challenge and High Point Furniture market are just two of the things I've been looking forward to for months.
1. New Traditional Teal
This weekend I helped my good friend install a beautiful teal sofa as apart of a living room makeover. The couple had been sitting on the same sofa for 28 years before they called in Laura for help. If you're reading this and have had your sofa since the first President Bush, please contact me so we can update you! It's time.
2. Emser Tile Mosaics
We are fortunate to have an Emser Tile showroom pretty close to our office but I hadn't had a chance to visit until this week! They had such a beautiful collection and I love that all the tile is made in the US.
3. Vibrant Textural Clubhouse
I presented interior and exterior finishes for a new construction project this week and I cannot wait to get the feedback on it! It was full of bold selections like that olive green & teal fabric you see here.
4. One Room Challenge
I am SO excited to start the 6 week One Room Challenge this week! I'm being overly ambitious and attempting an overhaul of the whole main area of my studio. It's well overdue for an update. Since I moved in three years ago, I've been living with hand me downs and thrift store finds. I'm going to be transforming both my bedroom & living room spaces with a Kate Spade inspired plan. Stay tuned!
5. Project Farmhouse Progress
My client sent over this progress shot of her husband's office and I just love how the brick walls came out! The cabinetry is the same as the new cabinets in her kitchen. It's definitely going to be his man cave! PS - How happy does this installer look with his hands deep in grout?
6. Fall Recipe Inspiration
One of my best friends is back with another season of amazing recipe videos! If you're looking for meal inspiration, Rosalynn delivers simple and delicious ideas every week like this chicken apple cheddar galette. Yum! Make sure you subscribe to her videos after you watch this latest one.
