You guys! I am so thrilled to share that I am featured in the March 2019 edition of Southern Living magazine. It’s so surreal to see my face in print!
I’m so grateful that my client allowed us to shoot in one of the rooms I designed in her home as well! I actually called her the morning of the shoot to ask, and she welcomed us with only an hours notice. This room is one of my favorite projects to date and you can see more of this home in my portfolio here! We’ve been calling this room the “wife’s room” because the wall behind me in this photo will house beautiful bridal portraits currently being completed by one of the best oil painters in the Southeast.
Patricia Love was my stylist for the day and she so graciously took these behind the scenes photos. We started the day a 6:30am and it was 26 degrees! Since this was for a spring edition, of course I was freezing while smiling wearing these lightweight looks.
And as if being in the magazine wasn’t enough, my story was picked up by our local news station! I had so much fun chatting with Amber Rupinta at Green Front Interiors and the response has been amazing.
The timing of this feature is so significant for me as March makes a year that I have been working for myself full time. If you’re new here, please go back and read my story! And unless you’re an OG SingleBubblePop follower, you probably do not remember that I had a tiny little shoutout in Southern Living back in 2012. Talk about a full circle moment! Seven years, lots of hard work, wins and losses and here I am being featured. God is so faithful! I could not even imagine myself being on such a huge platform so early in my business and I’m grateful to be able to represent my home state & city.
I cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who has reached out to congratulate me over the weekend. And if you’re looking to purchase an issue, they are on sale everywhere! If you’re not in the south but would like one, you can purchase the Kindle version one on Amazon.
