What's New on the Blog
Hi! I'm Niki, and I'm addicted to thrifting leather. I confess, ever since I found this jacket years ago, I never bought a new leather piece of clothing again. I have a couple leather jackets & skirts that I purchased at second hand stores that have lasted for years. They are my favorite part of fall!
It is officially the last week of summer and I don't know about you but I'm super excited about it. I love summer but nothing beats the coziness of fall in North Carolina. Here are six things I want to share this week! An awesome Raleigh tile resource, African art celebration at NC Art Museum, a fun DIY and more...
I'm so excited to bring back my Artist Spotlight series! I couldn't be more thrilled to have Christa be the first interview of this year. Her spirit is just as amazing as her work! I met her last year at Blogalicious. We connected because she had just left her public health position to pursue art full time, and wanted to know more about how interior designers work with artists. She has such a vibrant personality and amazing testimony. Her tenacity to make art that's true to her while building a lifestyle of her dreams is truly inspiring. Her new collection "On Changing my Mind" is available at www.christadavid.com. And you may recognize her work from my bedroom tour video! I'm such a fan. Let's get into the interview!
